| | Dear friends, Sharing some photos taken on a recent trip to London. Skies were gloomy all the time, hence i felt having the pictures in black n white will be a gd representation of the city. Do enjoy viewing! |
| | Its been some time since i took IR photos, hence took the opportunity on a rare sunny Sunday to try out IR on my GX100. Not too bad, however there was a slight hotspot. Enjoy the photos! |
| | A short trip to our neighbouring country. Nice laid back place, and friendly hospitable hosts. Thanks Thomas! |
| | A nice afternoon shoot with 3 lovely ladies. Thanks for the invite guys! |
| | This was a fun and thrilling experience watching the F1 Singapore GP. First time I had seen cars racing past at almost 300km/hr! those deafening sounds from the engines and the smell of burning rubber makes the experience even more memorable!
As I sat on the fields of Padang watching the last few laps of the finals with many like-minded enthusiasts all over the world, I'm deeply proud of SG hosting such a memorable event in a commendable way. The scenes of F1 cars racing down with our beautiful CBD skyline makes such a breathtaking sight.
Tried my best to capture some cars in action, but they were simply too fast!! Not much of Ferraris and Mercedes...they seem much faster than others...haha! But nevertheless, do enjoy viewing the photos of cars and street scene all around the circuit. Thanks to Darren for the tixs! |
| | My first visit to a motor-show in SG with some friends. Totally overwhelmed by the bevy of pretty ladies there showcasing the various speed-monsters. Managed to catch some familiar faces there as well. |
| | This has been a long 15yrs over-dued trip!! Much has changed except for the expressions of the animals, still as bored as before. Rained after lunch and plans to shoot had to be postpone for another trip.
Some photos to share. Thanks to Jackie for the entry passes. =) |
| | A nice cooling morning macro session at Hort Park, Had a chance to see a baby mantis, however its too shy and goes into hiding too often! hah! Ended the session with a nice Myanmese lunch with our departing friend, Moe.
Moe, see u back soon, rem to work hard and dun play too much there! lol!

| | Had a relaxing walk with some colleagues on a new attraction in SG which links several parks together. Weather was cool and everyone was in a good mood. Kind of reminded me of the walks/hikes i had a NZ, albeit with a different scenery.
An enjoyable morning otherwise marred by a bit of crowd on the linking bridges and a brief spell of light showers. Will be re-visiting this place again to catch the sun-set, and this time, i will be taking the foot-trail instead!!
Sharing some snaps taken along the route. =) |
| | Finally, had some time to process these photos. An outing organised by Nikon SIngapore, giving a discounted rate for the flyer. It was difficult to shoot ard the small, packed and warm capsule with light reflections on the glass. I would say, the view would look much much more beautiful when the IRs are up and running....not worth the price at the moment.
Nevertheless, heres sharing some shots on how its like at the highest point of SG at nite. =) |
| | Sharing some photos of animals seen during the trip. Most of it shown here can be found at the Deer Park, Queestown. Its just like a wildlife safari and by just paying $20/car, you can simply drive your car into this un-fenced mountain and experience close encounters with free-roaming animals in their natural environment.
Had this chance to watch red deers 'fighting'. Mating season perhaps?? Enjoy!

| | Had an wonderful opportunity to do an amazing road trip round the whole of South Island, New Zealand with 3 new friends. Although tiring at times, it was certainly one of the most enjoyable trip I ever experienced!
Indeed, a truly splendid country with the most amazing and beautiful landscapes I had ever seen in my life! No wonder LOTR was filmed here in New Zealand! Never in my life had i seen such awesome landscapes and encountered fantastic wildlife close-up!
You can call me "sua-ku", but this trip brought me many first-time experiences. Jumped the infamous bungee, survived white water rafting, engulfed by the starry skies and the Milky Way, dwarfed by giant mountains, entered glow-worm infested caves, climbed ice glaciers....etc. Oh, not forgetting the wide array of savory food we had along the trip.
A short summary of the places we visited: 1) Lake Tekapo (small peaceful town lit up by wonderful stars at night) 2) Invercargil, Bluff (southern most tip of the island. Die die must try the Bluff oysters!) 3) Dunedin (busy town with interesting architecture and Cadbury chocolate factory) 4) Te Anau, Milford Sound (another small peaceful town, gateway to the serene and majestic mountains of the Milford Sound) 5) Queenstown (a place for u to do all the dare-defying, gravity-defying sports!!) 6) Lake Wanaka (Sky-diving area, or try something mild like getting dizzy at the Puzzling World) 7) Fox Glacier (do the only thing to do here - climb a glacier! How often do u get to do that?!?!) 8) Hokitika (a stop-over town en-route to Christchurch) 9) Christchurch
Definitely a must return place to do more hiking, bungee, and sky-diving!! Do enjoy some of the photos which are sights that will always be etched in my memory. =) |
| | Happy Chinese New Year to everyone! Took a trip to the annual flower festival to catch some 花香!! Sharing some shots here. Do enjoy my first album of 2008!! |
